Preheat oven to 400˚.  Place oven rack in middle.  Lightly oil a large baking sheet.

• 1 tablespoon of activated charcoal  Find this at the drugstore.  (DO NOT USE  BRIQUETTES)
• 2 cups brown rice flour
• 3 tablespoons canola oil
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
• 2 tablespoons of powdered milk mixed in 2/3 cup of water

Combine charcoal and flour. Mix in the other five ingredients to make a dough for the gourmet dog treats.  Drop by teaspoon onto oiled sheet, about 1 inch apart.  Bake 15 - 20 minutes. Store the home made dog treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator.  Other recipes of interest:
